Depends on when payment clears. If it's a debit order, you have to allow for up to 5 business days for the payment to reflect in our account. from there, the courier will contact you within 48 hours (or 2 business days) to arrange delivery.

Credit card. There should be no clearing delay.

Maybe this is related to the credit card problem on your system.

If it's credit card it should clear immediately and be packed and handed over to the courier the same day (depending on the time). From there, the courier will give you a call the next day usually and arrange delivery.

I'm not sure to what extent this is covered under the warranty, I imagine a measure of battery life degradation is to be expected over time. Can you drop me a PM and I'll check on what our policy is on this?

Otherwise, you should be able to purchase one at any Huawei device retailer (like a cellular shop).

10gig+10gig is not bad, but there are users that own LTE Modems and 10gig is just too little.


Maybe 20+20gig special or 50+50 for the Higher end users ?

Would change to afrihost in a heartbeat if they offered 50GB/pm or more!

I think we're definitely seeing a call for bigger Mobile accounts in general, so your call is heard. We just need to figure out what we can viably offer, given that we subsidise Mobile Data prices to make them awesome :)
 
Looks as if mine is also going to be 8 days.

IMO Afrihost should add a week to their pro-rata calculations.

My understanding is that the courier contacts within 2 business days. Thereafter the turnaround time depends on the clients availability.

We'll look at trying to give more realistic indicators around this through, we don't want to create expectations that we can meet. Just remember that the data you pay for is fully available to you, so you won't lose any value for your money.
 
Morning Afriman, my mifi device has full signal in Cape Town this morning, but can't connect to the network? Is there brokenness?
 
Is there something wrong with Afrihost Mobile? My sim doesn't want to connect even though I've got great signal. :(

And I created a new support request ticket at Afrihost, received an email that the ticket was created but the ticket is not showing in the Afrihost ClientZone.

I've let them know about that Client Zone ticket bug before and it's still not fixed. Lameballs.
 
Mine was working, rebooted fone for an update and now it isnt working. Other 2 connections still working thou
 
Cannot connect at all today. After months of complaining about my bad internet speeds they are sending someone today to install an antenna and now the internet isn't even working. :cry:
 
Got a story from them. Back end is down, stay connected, should be back on line soon.
