I can confirm that you'll be looking for some extra Mobile data customers by January if Afrihost are foolhardy enough to cut the data offering!
You see, at present it's is pretty good value for those on double data but if you take this away, you'll become probably one of the most expensive providers in SA.
Your current 1GB offering is dwarfed by MWeb offering 2GB for R89 (i.e R10 less PM) including a free modem!
Better tell the bosses to look out of the window instead of at a spreadsheet or your business will vanish as quickly as it flourished...

Thanks - added to calendar... not paying the current price for only 5GB
IF you want axxess is running double your data and it works out cheaper . I am currently on the R300 for 5+5 from afrihost but after dec you will have to add R99 to that so its R399 for 10GB with the new add on thingy and with that I can rather move to axess and pay R379 for 12 GB (also has a 3month role over)

AfriGenie, I've been thinking, if it's not viable for Afrihost to continue with the double data at the current price then I will pay that extra R100 per month. I voted no but only because I don't need anything except the double data. But I will pay if it is necessary.

There is still some time until the launch of Afrihost Plus+ and the end of December, so you don't need to rush into anything just yet.

Axxess double data PLUS 3 month carry over is tempting... and especially so since this Afrihost Plus+ extra cost nonsense has reared its head.
Hmmmm... can Axxess mobile data be provisioned on an existing Afrihost SIM and just one input Axxess APN when needing to use it?

I think the intention was to give our clients a nice add-on to their products that would really add value to their Afrihost products, it would be great if everyone used it, but I think Gian is realistic and knows that it won't be something everyone needs to use.
It's the SIMFY that's throwing me off tbh. If you've worked a simfy cost into the add-on package - then I'm really not keen on paying a percentage for something I don't actually want or need. I want data, not other services. If SIMFY is completely free and at cost to afrihost - then say so.

Looks like it is. 20GB + 20GB mobile data for R979 is it? Not sure can't see now because I changed my 10GB +10GB package to it now.
@afrigenie looks like everyone can see it when they change a existing package. Once you are on it you can't downgrade or upgrade to it again. It disappears. I'm hoping to stay on this package. Decent pricing.

Okay, I just confirmed with our Dev Team, if you have the option available to you, you will be able to upgrade to it, but once you downgrade again, you will not have the option for those packages made available again.
The pricing you mentioned is corrected, and you will be able to use Afrihost Plus+ with it, once that launches.

If you have the option in the Clientzone, you are able to upgrade to those packages, yes. Not every user will have the option under the Edit Package option.

I just bought some extra Telkom Mobile data so I won't be upgrading at the moment. I wish these were available 2 weeks ago then I would have skipped on the Telkom Mobile data.
