Sorry about that. I can always check for you if the refund has been processed on our side. Drop me a PM.

Speeds are horrendous on my the Afrihost APN this morning - wonder if something is broken on their / MTNs network.

I see my speeds are just as bad using the MTN APN.

Anyone from Afrihost: Any ideas of what is broken?

On my side LTE is completely dead over the weekend which must be an MTN problem. Afrihost who can I contact to report something like this? Normal HSDPA works but then I can't play games online.

I'm on an MTN contract SIM - just use the AH APN for my normal internet access.

When my AH data is used up I switch over to the MTN APN and use up any remaining airtime I have on that side.

Are you getting consistently slow speeds in different locations?

It could be that one tower is currently down or undergoing maintenance which would affect your account from one location, but if you are getting slow speeds from different areas, then we'll need to check the actual sim card and the actual device.

Can AH subscribers use either APN? What is the mtn apn?

You are able to switch between the Afrihost and MTN APNs, but then you will be using that specific APN's data.

The Afrihost APN is Afrihost.

The MTN APN is listed as myMTN.

If you notice a specific service affected on the MTN, the best place to log that query is Here.

This logs the query directly with MTN, and they'll get someone to investigate ASAP.
