That it was.

Phoned your support just after 7 this morning and the guy I spoke to told me it should be sorted within an hour or so - but it still doesn't seem to be working...

The re-provisioning should have been completed by now... Could you set the APN to Afrihost, then restart the device to quickly test please.
 
Still nothing :/

Not sure if the issue isn't maybe because part of my upgrade is a new SIM?

Haven't received any of that yet though.

Is the new Sim card active and working yet? The number has remained unchanged correct?

Haven't taken delivery of it yet - will probably be next week.

The number is still active on my current SIM

AfriGenie any news @ mtn about my issue?

It seems MTN has finally figured out there is an issue! They are making some changes and optimizations over the next few days, so hopefully you will see some improvement!

Really grumpy at Afrihost's service. Have a problem with my account so I tried sms'd then on Friday, got a single ring call later in the evening that didn't even last long enough to answer, I was right next to the phone.
Called again this morning just after 8 and was told I need to talk to xx, so I left her a message. Called again just after 13h30 and left another message for xx. By early evening still no response so another sms. To now, no phone back.
Eventually I tried calling again and was informed that the person that needs to resolve this will only be back tomorrow...
Feel like the I'm stuck in a reality show prank.

Not very impressed with you couriers at the moment. Delivery was scheduled for today between 8 and 10. I came in to work just for this, as I am ill, but got a call just after 10 that they are running late and will only deliver this afternoon. What's the point of giving a time frame if you are going to miss it by hours?

Thats definitely not cool. But I do know that our couriers are usually spot on when it comes to sticking to their schedules so this is definitely an exception and not the rule. I'm truly sorry about that. Anything I can do to help?

It's fine. It has been delivered. Guess I'm a bit more grumpy than normal today.
