I'm sorry but the Afrihost APN was barely working so I decided for ****s and giggles to run more tests, bought 100MB MTN bundle changed APN and bam working perfectly so unless it's the Afrihost sim card its the APN and I don't care what anyone says.

Going to change back to Afrihost now and do some tests and then update my google doc with the results.

See my reply at #5619 :)

I get that you're upset, but creating duplicated threads won't help solve things any quicker.

you need to understand I bring up my issues and a month later with no feed back how do you think I feel about this

So it could be the sim but I don't see how that can effect packet loss shouldn't that only effect if one connect or not?

I really do understand, but I've personally done my best and so has our team.
Some queries are simply out of our hands.

This is why we need to run through a standard set of troubleshooting steps.
I'm really trying to do my best here - let's work together and get this fixed.

As discussed in our earlier PMs last week, please test this in a different area, or see if the issue is replicated across a different SIM and device.

Let me know.

so what must I just go stand on my head and spin around because its unacceptable I will pm you quik

at this rate its not getting solved As I am not getting any feedback

When you brought this up initially mentioned it wasn't going to be a quick fix though. I'm sorry that pings are higher for you.

Well it's not the device because I use the same device when I run the MTN tests, so you telling me that maybe the sim can cause packet loss ?

Believe me if I had a laptop I would have tested it from George to Knysna :)

Could very well be, the only way to tell for sure is to run through the motions and test.

Will try to make a plan to test at different locations tomorrow. Still don't see how it can be the sim why did it work yesterday morning until 14:30 if it was the sim, I was playing division with Americans maybe there's a clue in that. maybe it's a local problem.

Let me know how things go.
From the results you've posted, the next logical test to run is in a different area.

Ran a ping afrihost.com and got 98% packet loss and then like magic I ping google.com 100 times and no packet loss. Running some tracert now and things are looking much better :)

saving results to folder Afrihost working, for science :)
