Airtime purchased within a calendar year will expire at the end of the following year.
I am yet to test Wifi calling on my end.

i still have some vodacom airtime to use up before i jump ship.. any way you could get confirmation this isn't just a blip and will soon get switched off again?

not sure if it makes a difference but my tests were with a physical sim not e-sim.

Tried with my esim on Afri, no go... However, noticed that my Kastelo esim wifi calling works...

Signed up for a new esim with new number, no vowifi, maybe it's an esim issue. I'll see tomorrow if it wakes up

Esim not working in my s24 or s21 so far, seems like it's a physical SIM feature as well.
