Afrihost Mobile Feedback

Both I'm sure are possible.

I'd think @AfriNatic would reply that Afrihost don't sell the MTN nos they deal with, and they probably don't, but wouldn't put it past MTN doing so.

Maybe he'll have something to write about it ....

Hi,

We definitely don't. The numbers are managed by MTN and when you signup for an Air mobile package we simply add the APN provisioning on the existing MTN package.

@AfriNatic do you guys have the ability to generate eSim's as-well like a normal MTN Store?

E-sim is only available for MTN Contract customers and it's handled by MTN unfortunately.

Once you have an E-sim I can't see why you can signup for the APN as we load the APN provisioning on the MTN number.

Still not active. Seems to be stuck with MTN

Drop me a pm with the number in question so I can have a look what the hold up is.

All good, then.

Must be from MTN / MTN related, regardless of whether they're recycled numbers (as some have mentioned).

That fact doesn't stop the calls from coming through. I used to use a very good call blocker ; Google took it down from their store, so nowadays, have to take action after the event.

EDIT - had a look now and it's still in the Play Store ; Call Blacklist etc by Vlad Lee. Pretty sure it's that which was on my old phone.

Google advised it had been removed when I switched it on last week - don't know why ; maybe the name changed, because I think he has two ; might reinstall it as have contributed to it in the past.

Is Afrihost mobile down? I'm being redirected to an MTN login page saying I must buy more data from Afrihost when I have plenty according to Client Zone
@AfriNatic

Was also having issues with mobile earlier, but it's all fixed now. Thank you to whoever was working overtime to fix it:thumbsup:

Reprov. MTN Afrihost SIM, used purely for data, though 1st unwanted call for some time. Screenshot_2022-07-22-12-56-07-234_com.google.android.dialer.jpg

Hi,

Can you please send me the number in question.

We are investigating a dev issue causing the usage to be capped when 250MB data remaining is reached.
