Hey @AfriNatic please can you assist with ZSD-752-81706

I am in a boot loop with the whatsapp support staff and I am not going to run through the same set of steps every time I get a new person.

Issue: Internet stops working after about 60 seconds when using the afrihost apn. Turning off data and turning back on again, it works for a further 60 seconds. Airplane mode then off, 60 seconds. This started happening around the time of the large APN outage a few weeks ago

What I have tried:
  • Checked account balance - not an issue
  • Removed APN settings and added again
  • Inserted sim into another phone, issue follows sim
  • Inserted another sim into other phone, internet works ok
    • This concludes that the issue is with the sim/number/account
  • Restarted phone many times
When setting the APN back to mtn default, internet works perfectly.

Please can someone have a proper look and see what the issue is?

We are investigating a dev issue causing the usage to be capped when 250MB data remaining is reached.

I read this post...... Topeed up with a gig.... and voila....

Still hopes it gets sorted out...

I'm aware of the issue and we are investigating with the Vendor to find the root cause of the issue.

Exact same issue as @mrudling

Spent 40mins with chat rep to no avail. Havnt been able to use this service since 17th Sep. To late rip cancel for October but afraid will be paying for dead service...

Hi, I am really sorry to hear that. The sim has been reprovisioned, may you please connect using our APN and advise if the issue still persists.
 
Do you have a direct link to the coverage for the uncapped package for me?
@Afrigirl I want to check if I have coverage for it so I can move from rain over to afrihost do you just have normal link to the map so I can double check

I've recreated the APN as instructed by your website. Sadly still not getting connected.
