I did this in about 2 minutes now. What is the problem on your side?Does anyone know how to add an AirMobile eSim to a Galaxy Watch? Despite the website listing it as supported, it seems impossible to do.

It might be that your airmobile can't switch to 3G to get sms or calls. Check if you can force it 3G and see if sms works?I am experiencing issues with Air Mobile connectivity: people are unable to reach me intermittently for the past week or so.
This is quite annoying, as the complex that I live in has a telephonic intercom, so I am missing deliveries.
Also, OTP delivered via SMS are nor reaching me, I tried over 3x today to login into the Afrihost App, requested OTP via SMS, and I am still waiting for them to arrive. Managed to log a ticket via web PXF-258-20658
What is going on with Air Mobile?
My handset selects it automatically, cannot choose. It might be that your airmobile can't switch to 3G to get sms or calls. Check if you can force it 3G and see if sms works?
Hi. On the ticket, please add the following. My handset selects it automatically, cannot choose.
It's not only SMS, it's calls too.
Updated with a call from Afrihost VOIP, so you've got both sides which you can verify.Hi. On the ticket, please add the following.
One number you've missed a call from and the timestamp same for outgoing calls.
Any error message received for SMSes?
Thank you. It has been escalated both with MTN and the Airmobile team.Updated with a call from Afrihost VOIP, so you've got both sides which you can verify.![]()
Good. I have added more missed calls. They should have ample data to check.Thank you. It has been escalated both with MTN and the Airmobile team.
Hi.I'm doing a SIM swap after my phone with AirMobile SIM was stolen. I requested the swap on Saturday morning and it says I need to insert the new SIM to proceed, but Afrihost support says 3-5 working days are required to ship the SIM, which would mean until 18 August. My temporary phone does not support an e-SIM. I urgently require access to my number to receive OTPs, including for insurance purposes. Please advise how I might accelerate the process. I also can't port my number until I have access to it again.
@Afrigirl ? Thank you in advance
This is a thing with Pi by MTN as well. Makes so sense, but I think the worse of them all is Telkom. A while ago, had to get a new eSIM because of this exact same situation, just to be told, they don't have stock of eSIMsBit of a disaster with my eSim. It won't move from my old phone to my new phone. Either says "unable to activate" or "code is no longer valid" - now have to open a support case to get my eSim swapped - I thought the point of eSims was to avoid all this[#FRS-287-50934]
The situation is ongoing. One missed call on Monday morning, another today at 15H11. Afrihost / MTN service is unreliable.
@AfriGuy
Thank you for your email request.
Please see feedback in quotes below from MTN after an escalation has been logged with their second-level support team:
"Good day
As per support:
Please note this number is not on the network please ask the user to restart and test also to test the sim on another device"
Kindly carry out the above test and advise if the SIM is now able to receive calls consistently.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused on your end.
Regards,
Afrihost.
Out of curiosity. What phone are you using? Is there sufficient 3G coverage where you are? What about 2G/Edge?So this is the update on the call:
"The number is not on the network" <-- That is what I have been telling you. My phone has been on all day, and I have received at least 3 calls on it. It is the purpose on the call that I logged in the first place, my SIM does not receive calls intermittently. Now MTN have acknowledged the problem.
"please ask the user to restart and test also to test the sim on another device" <-- I have no other device. I am also not sure how this solves the problem. What you are suggesting is the same drivel which you told me 2 weeks ago already: That the problem is on my handset, and now you want me to prove it for you at my own expense.
I have provided numerous missed calls, date and time when they happened. Why are you not releasing the logs of the capacity of the cell towers, as I have requested?
@Afrigirl @AfriGuy this is pathetic service from Air Mobile, Afrihost and MTN.
How strong is your reception. I have a similar issue, but on Vodacom. I am between 2 towers and in my office if i move from one side to the other the call will drop. I also miss calls - caller gets a message that "the caller is not available on the vodacom network". Get a sms about a missed call 30 mins to an hr laterSo this is the update on the call:
