Afrihost Mobile free data promotion

I have 500mb apn deal on my phone sim, is this deal offered to me?

No emails from Gian.

Now that's gonna be pretty tricky :p
Sign up for a free 1GB ADSL package in the mean time - might buy you a bit more time!

Sadly that too has run out, it's usually my first alternative.. I'll have to top up this weekend.

Thanks for the awesome deals :)

...streaming via my phone was once a big NO NO....happy days with Afrihost Mobile, no site, no stream is off limits now...

Yeah, we all lived in fear of mobile downloads. I've seen many people turn into Scrooge McDownload :)

Guess those days are finally over now :)

If you have an MTN contract number you should have received a mail :)

I have a MTN contract but my Afrihost 5GB is not linked to this. I opted for a seperate sim.

Could you imagine if all companies across all markets were as great as Afrihost.

Hmm I feel left out, no email!

Same here, after reading the forum the REP did say it's only available to MTN Contract holders ONLY which to me is totally unfair, should be across the board, hopefully the separate SIM cards/dispatched by Afrihost will have true value*maybe*

Totally unfair only loyal MTN contract customers can take advantage of this deal :( (Must be partnership deal or to save on courier cost/admin work":P

Afrihost have a reputation already - If I ever signup for ADSL in future I will definitely give my money to Afrihost

Glad you guys are happy with it, now we all need to adjust to having a decent amount of data on our phones :)

Are you kidding me, I don't even know what to do with the 5GBs I got for free. :p Have wireless everywhere I go, but turned that off just to use the data. :D

Afriman, how did you know who's on MTN contract? Not that I mind my 10Gb, but still.

You can only provision the afrihost APN product on MTN contract numbers, so MTN had to provide them with a way to check the submitted number somehow - all they had to do was to run all their cellphone numbers though this system ...

Liar liar liar liar, trust me 5 GB of data can go fast if you watch youtube videos on a regular basis, update applications on your phone. I have seen free games 1gb of data needed. Your data will go fast, just used 1gig to update my iPad :) next my smartphone. Watch KB(knowledge base) videos :)

If you not a regular data users then there will be a problem on how to actually deplete all the gigs. *my smartphone has 2gigs of outdated apps*

That is correct, probably top up customers are exempted from the promotion - that process probably took them 2-5 days probably to run.

No idea - All I know is that the promo went out to roughly 76763 clients.
