So.. the question.. When are you gonna offer uncapped mobile Afrihost??

MTN previously had uncapped for R299 so its not impossible to offer uncapped.. Pricing needs to be on par.

Now waiting patiently

they first net to get enough capped users to off set the cost of supporting the uncapped band.

I get a 25Mb connection with MTN on 3G, so yeah, uncapped will be good.

I don't think there are any solid plans/ talks around Uncapped Mobile. But you never know, keep your eyes peeled :)

If there's an uncapped product coming, I'll be a guinea pig and sign up :D

Should be interesting :)

/watching this space for announcements :p

I think there should be solid plans being put forth for uncapped.. I cant get a telkom line yet my neighbour can get one.. Long story short R400 a month for uncapped is reasonable....

Even faster speeds with be great.. would immediately sign up

I doubt mtn would allow uncapped being sold using their network, unless there is some deal behind the scenes.

But it would be really cool to see AfriHost launch bigger capped mobile data plans (50GB, 100GB, 150GB, and so on).

Competition is intensifying now with an Uncapped Mobile product launched :) If the product is good everyone will jump ship then afri will have to come to the table and bring something competing against them :P

I don't see why Afrihost cannot do the same as LucidView is using the same provider as Afrihost.
Ill wait a bit & see how users review the new service.
In the meantime I am sure Afrihost will be looking into there "new" competition.
Would rather stick with Afrihost, service so far has been very good from AfriMan, AfriGuy & AfriGirl (is this a father, son & daughter team)?

We're not looking at offering Uncapped on Mobile just yet, but it is something we know there could be a lot of value in. The high cost of mobile bandwidth makes it very difficult to do so, unless it's heavily restricted and that's not how we would want to go.

We're looking at lots of different possibilities for future Mobile offerings. If we see that it could work for us - we'll start crunching the numbers :)

What makes mobile bandwidth way more expensive than ADSL? Dont they use the same Seacom and EASSY cables?

If I can get uncapped for R199 from LucidView @ 4Mbps, I see no point in sticking with you guys, granted though, we're still to guinea pig it.
