Afrihost mobile - zero throughput 2013-10-06

My Afrihost sim has gone dead. It will connect when inserted into any device but there is no throughput. All settings in my 2 routers that I tried are correct and I am using the afrihost APN.

However, my MTN 2gb sim and mifi which is direct to MTN is working fine.

Therefore, someone broke something related to the afrihost APN. Anyone else having issues?

mmmmmm.... my MTN 2gb has now also gone dead. Signal has dropped off and it is stuck in EDGE mode......

I wonder if they are working on my tower.....

Have had the same problem. Most frustrating to have to purchase bandwidth elsewhere when you have already paid for your 10 gigs.

Still stone dead for me since mid afternoon. It was flying during my phone updates and then just died! Sigh, very frustrating :-(

What area are you guys in? I was in Brackenfell from 12 till 2pm and my S4 with MTN SIM and data running on Afrihost APN was stuck on GPRS with no throughput. Couldn't even get EDGE. When I changed to normal MTN APN I had the exact same result. After leaving the area I was back to HSPDA speeds with normal throughput. Seems like an MTN or specific tower issue.

Have now had this happen twice in 3 weeks, connects but zero throughput.
Called Afrihost, had to disconnect and wait while something(cache?) was cleared.
Upon reconnect all back to normal, is there some monitor app bug?
Anybody else?

I am experiencing same issue, paulshof sandton, constant ping drops, web pages can't load, but I can download HP drivers at over 600KB/s
