Hi Peeps,

I'm trying to determine whether AH Network Test App tool is working right.

After downloading from http://www.afrihost.com/site/page/afrihost_network_test?src=website_homepage and running it, I get timeouts.

If I do tests manually or with Zertop's tool (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...my-internet-quot-report-tool?highlight=zertop) everything is fine, so I'm asking whoever has a good line/exchange with no problems to please run the tool and posts the results here:

Not a very successful start to this thread :(

So it's not just me then - yay! :)

Saying that, were you downloading or something when you ran those tests? Your second hop to Afrihost on Zertop's test doesn't look too hot: 339 ms 230 ms 71 ms 105-236-3-65-esr-lo.mtnbusiness.co.za [105.236.3.65]

Pretty cruddy for a 4mb line.

EDIT: Just noticed something else. My Zertop local tracert is google and your Zertop local tracert is afrihost.

Also, your's has a local and international speedtest when mine only has international with a blank local.

Weird :wtf:
