Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

I can also see these issues are from KZN - Amanzimtoti, Durban, Richmond, Richardsbay. All i want to do in the evenings is come home, jump on my pc in an online game and relax.

I have always championed Afrihost. I started with a 1mb line, moved up to 2mb, moved to business 2mb, made the plunge and upgraded to 8mb. Afrihost was my first ADSL ISP ever. I stayed with Afrihost through both BIG dips in service with the changes made and everything. I just feel that I cannot do it for a third time. Please guys, I really still want to champion you guys in the future.

Struggling as usual in the south too. Android updates standing still again. Still have open tickets about this with no feedback.

Are you still in touch with our Critical Care team?

AfriGuy the topic about giving back to customers after your issues last year came up again over the weekend. It reminded me that I've also asked plenty of times about this, but have never received any real feedback.

I sent this PM in Feb this year, but never even received a reply. In there I pointed to a question I asked in December last year that you answered.

Hi AfriGenie

I posted the below a while ago and got the following response:

Do you have any newer insight. As a business customer I have not been "rewarded" for my loyalty at all, even after sticking around and helping testing your network for your and my benefit. The business customers were very hard hit the last year, before the new network, with other traffic bleeding into our pools as I understand it. We are/were paying a premium and did not get what we payed for.

The new network is very nice and stable. Very happy about that. Just feeling very frustrated every month when the debit order goes through, realising I payed this for 6+ months when I did not get the value.

Any comment?

YouTube is fine for me too. As is speed tests.
All that proves is that they prioritize that traffic well enough and let the rest suffer.
I'll test other protocols if you provide the link. :)

If there are any pending queries/ concerns, these need to be brought up with Critical Care as they are your current touch-point.

Tray some android updates/installs if you have an android device. Takes 5min to download 2.6Mb update.
Fluctuates between 14-300Kbps
My tablet and PC are already running the latest's versions. Is there something else I can test? :)

Also struggling with p2p.

Speedtest and youtube and browsing is fine but p2p running at sub 10kb/s spiking to 70kb/s on a 4mbps line

100gb Capped Account

But will probably pick up at around 23h00 again.

I last heard from them on Friday. They were waiting for feedback from somebody your side.

My giving back to customers post comes more from the general frustration people are feeling about how Afrihost deals with these kinds of issues and also the promises made. If you read this original question and your answer, we both know that nothing has happend regarding this for business customers. All other accounts received free data, etc etc.

How do I take a screen shot on a tablet? :o

Android or iOS?
iOS is home and lock button at the same time, android is home and volume down key usually.
EDIT: Obviously it's android, sorry.
EDIT2: Plants vs Zombies is going at 350kB/s (I panicked, didn't know what app to pick off of the PlayStore :p). Note I am also downloading a file via skype at 250kB/s at the same time. My download rate on speedtests is about 8Mbps.
