Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

Last night I had a bit of a bad YouTube experience with AH to switched to Vox. It was only last night though that connectivity wasn't all that good. Other than that, even with the capped accounts now potentially shaped, it's not bad. Hope experience improves.

If your speed test shows a low speed, that is not shaping. I don't understand how people associate a crap speed test to shaping. Either your line is an issue, crap exchange or the region from which you are connecting to Afrihost is experiencing issues.
 
Maybe you should seriously consider leaving?
Your endless complaint posts are getting pretty old. If Afrihost isn't working for you just move on. Plenty other ISPs out there.

I was getting last night 500 kb/s on a 40 mb vdsl I'm not like your accept bat service when you look at my post it was after the local pop

No need to be aggressive and rude to him. He is kinda right, your constant complaining has become stale.

The contradiction is strong here. I simply suggested leaving.
If you don't accept bad service or aren't happy with a service then maybe you should consider moving on, as per your own advise?

I doubt posting in a forum thread daily about poor throughput or high latency is actually going to fix the issue.
 
Anyway, back on topic.
My results are looking legendary! Hope the guys who implemented the fix have spent the day drinking some well deserved craftage today :D

Maybe that hop's busy and not prioritising ICMP. Not a reflection of my overall latency.

Did you check the speedtest above, showing 19ms latency to local?

Not really sure what you are saying here. I think it's better if we focus on the issue you are having rather than attack other forum members. I also saw that you posted on our Facebook page. I think it's fair to say we've put a lot of effort into trying to figure out why you consistently have a bad experience when others don't. I'm not sure what options are left to investigate, but we're committed to looking at anything we haven't already tried to improve your experience.
