I'm not 100% at the moment, saw an ISP's Facebook post about it.
Trying to find out some more info though :)

Doesn't look to be affecting us though.

TBH, since Afrigreen became the new Afrihost network I have never been happier. Full speed ahead!

Can't get to reddit.com - Otherwise everything is up.

Probably because their local CDN is unable to get to the rest of their network

This. I also noticed TPB is down.

Edit: News24 is down too.

A lot of things are b0rked at the moment :(
I believe MWEB have an outage of their own, while TPB uses CF as a CDN, who are having an issue in JHB.

Okay, so I tested the 1GB account and I must admit, I'm really impressed!

I've signed up to a number of ISPs to compare apples to apples and AH won hands-down...with online gaming latencies at least.

I haven't tested downloads yet as it's only a 1GB account

D3 to EU servers latency sat at around 220ms, during peak hours last night, so well done to AH for sorting your network issues out.

You're a strong contender as I'm looking for a new ISP.
Glad to hear that :)

Either way, you guys releasing a statement to clients, or not necessary? I'm not having any issues, just wondering?

We're gathering a bunch of feedback via our network guys, as I said though, we're minimally if not affected at all by this so we're dealing with queries individually for now.
