Line still down. I find it strange that the line went down same time as it was transferred. Line was 100% just before. Is there nothing Telkom could have done during the line transfer?

If the line's down during a transfer to us, that's normal behaviour.
 
Voice as well? Line has been transferred already. According to Afrihost it is active. Fault was logged with Telkom by Afrfella.

No, only the DSL portion will become soft-suspended for a while.
If the voice line is down then that'll be the root cause.

Just strange that voice line went down at time of transfer. Telkom must have done something. Probably mistakenly cancelled my line
 
Afriguy could you please help, Im on your 4mb business uncapped package and recently I my bittorrents have been rather slow. even if I throw in a torrent with a lot of peers ect Im still getting the same result and for the package im on this is not making me happy to be on your network. Not sure if this is worth mentioning but earlier I even had a webpage that just wouldnt open. not cool!

Did you turn off the optimization feature in clientzone?
 
:wtf: 36 hours from sending a support ticket to a reply of "we'll escalate it to the relevant department"..... no. Not even remotely acceptable, I am sorry.

Are torrents the only service that's slow, or are other downloads too?
Check out Business optimisation on ClientZone, you can turn it off to completely unshape the account :)

Something is messed up with midnight data.

I've only downloaded over the last 2 evenings and with my 10mb line, I should DL about 4GB an hour, 24GB at max line speed.

As you can see, midnight data says about double that.

That's an odd one. The detailed usage seems to show correctly, not sure if the data links specifically are reflecting additional dates.
PM me your DSL username and I'll check this out for you :)
 
Thanks but I am well aware of the optimisation tool on the business package and its not that. I noticed it happens intermittently. I never had this problem before

If that's off there shouldn't be any issues :)
Are other downloads also slow?
