Hi some of my webpages are taking forever to load but my stats don't reflect that way :confused:

I couldn't even load Twitter or speedtest.net

Loads up pretty quickly for me :)
Is the whole site an issue or only certain aspects that aren't loading up properly?

For Speedtest.net it's not loading at all

Twitter barely shows anything on the page and it's dead slow

I'm really finding a hard time to see what's the cause of this :(

Very strange.
Have you tried swapping around DNS servers between auto assigned and Google's DNS to see if that solves the issue?

Are you able to ping or traceroute the domain?

I haven't manually changed the DNS servers yet, I'll give it a go but ideally shouldn't I want to keep it at the auto assigned anyway?

I have pinged and ran a traceroute

It looks it hangs on pbs.twing.com

I run a trace route and on ae-2-3608.ear1.washington39.level3.net
I get 80% packet loos

Could be an issue on Level 3 somewhere, not seeing any weirdness from our end. I'll keep an eye on it though.
Does changing DNS servers resolve this?
 
I've been having issues with my ADSL since Sunday 6th.

Internet cuts out, has massive latency and very low values of noise. Additionally, the line is unable to sync at max speed consistently.
Currently the connection is showing Downstream line rate (kbit/s) 1600, I am paying for a 2Mbps bundle.

My latency is over 1000 in CSGO.

I've been in contact with Afriguy who has not responded to me since Tuesday... it is already Friday. Tickets feel just as useless.

This all seems to have started happening when I downgraded my line from 8Mbps to 2Mbps uncapped bundles.

That looks like noise on the line. To add there is an insane bufferbloat on a 2mb line compared to an 8, but I doubt that this is the problem. You might wanna also paste some dsl line stats while you at, to speed up the trouble shooting.
 
I know it's a pain, but if I escalate that to our Dev team to look at I know they're gonna ask for data.
Maybe setup some local data collection so we have something to compare with?

Isn't it easier to assume that everyone is reporting double and just rewrite the "code" like that, because I truly believe that it's everyone, for eg:

It was mentioned earlier that it might be AH+ related?

Well,....as I'm not on AH+ anymore, I'm just an ave joe now, like everyone else, just maybe "more observant"?

Just woke up now. Checked the graph for data usage for the 12th which is obviously only night time data. Used 7.34 gigs so far but night data usage tool shows an increase of 14.68 gigs so doubled.
 
What is going on? My speed keeps dropping. Sometimes rebooting the modem restores the speed for a bit then it drops again. It will be fine for hours, but then drop again. I have sent Afrihost a mail and a please call me a couple of days ago but have had no reply. My line is syncing at 4mbs as that is what i pay for, says I have 8mps attainable. The line still reports this even when the speed and ping goes to pot. This morning I was at full speed, now I have this:
