Entirely depends on the 2nd router and if it's able to function as in AP/ repeater mode.

Just ran a test with a torrent now and saw 1.1MB/s on my test results.
We'll need to nail down how and why you and others seem to be having troubles here. Please confirm the following info and grab some test results

• Account type & speed

• What torrent app you're using

• Throughput tests on the below files:
  • Torrent
  • HTTP

I know off topic, was clearing and came across this. What is this for? Is this to add additional ethernet cables to multiple devices? I think its pretty old, but just want to know if its any use or should i just throw it away

Yes, you can connect it to your router for more devices.

Can also be used for a small LAN.
