As you can see, your account routes differently when pinging www.google.co.za and gives local ping times, whereas mine seems to be routing internationally. Pings to Google DNS appear to be routing internationally for both accounts.

Omitting "www" when pinging google.co.za made a difference.

Good day Afrihost team,

I have open a ticket to your support about my line sync, I am getting 1789kpbs and not the usual 2556kpbs, would be nice if you can look into it. Ticket number: ZAY-191-14467, I've open the ticket Thu, 07 Apr 2016 at 10:48, but no reply yet. I also asked how the process going for upgrading the line from 2mb - 10mb.

Kind regards.

What is interesting is that when you ping www.google.co.za it resolves to 216.58.XXX, but mine resolves to 172.217.18.3. If I ping google.co.za than it resolves to 216.58.XXX like yours.

Just got home and I don't spot anything wrong with the connection. The issues usually start up soon after 4pm, so we'll soon see if anything has changed.

Edit: Disconnects have returned with a vengeance. Couldn't even edit this post at first attempt due to another disconnect.

That's puzzling to say the least! I've passed this onto our Network Team.

Used the last few megabytes of my free Web Africa account to buy a 20GB prepaid ITNT voucher.

This issue has exceeded the capabilities of 2 backup accounts and is now costing me money.

you're sure you're using the AH+ assigned logins for it, and not your own?

ping 8.8.8.8, if it looks normal it's likely not your line. Download http://mirror.is.co.za/mirrors/linuxmint.com/iso//stable/17.3/linuxmint-17.3-cinnamon-64bit.iso for a while, if it works it's not your line.
