I am considering coming over to the dark side.

Do your prepaid accounts use the "new" system (i.e not MTN infrastructure)?

I use youtube regularly so streaming performance is important to me. Do you guys have your shyt together?

I am very happy with Afrihosts performance ATM. And all DSL accounts are on the new network.

What is your line speed?I am currently able to stream at 720p on a 4mb line without an issue with WebAfrica.

My options are Afrihost or Vox.

Twitch broken for me again ...

P2P speeds down the pooper as well it seems .. ... Speedtest showing max of 5.5mbps on my 10meg package

Same here. After a pretty good week. YouTube and P2P are terrible this evening.

Twitch is also Broken for me
Max Bandwith on Twitch 30 KB/s

My P2P is doing max speed tonight, but the past week ever night between 19:30-22:00 it was dead.

I wasn't testing at the time of the posts here, Twitch and other services shouldn't have seen any issues.

Did you manage to grab any tests for the specific services you're having issues with?

This is so super weird. Waited all day yesterday and last night for the magical moment when AH connection goes to ****, as usual, but ... nothing happened. Satisfactory latency and speed all the time. Only just now it took me like 20 seconds to open this thread. Which is no wonder since I'm downing the new 2015 GitS movie as we speak. So here is the promised internet bliss.

I personally didn't notice any general issues from my end - we'll need to check some test results to see what's causing the issues though.

we had some authentication problems on friday night and since then speeds are down and not what it is suppose to be

No issues around auth, and it isn't something that could be affecting your throughput.
Please post some tests.

Maybe grab a 1GB free account and test things out? Always the best way to make a decision IMHO, and it builds your own data to make a decision.

ALL DSL accounts run via the new IPC.

Very odd results.
Did you manage to grab a traceroute/ MTR to identify where this additional latency is coming in? Not seeing anything obvious on monitoring from our end.
