Very odd, which account do you have with us?
Getting intermittent connectivity. When I checked the Client Zone tool, I was getting low SNR (5.5). We had a Telkom guy up the pole in our yard this morning, he may have fiddled with the line and caused the extra noise. I've just logged a fault - let's wait and see.
Hopefully it's a quick fix! Keep me posted.
Double data is now permanent, so you were on a 10GB package with 10GB double data promo - which is 20GB. The promo is now permanent, so 20GB forever and always.
If you add Afrihost Plus+, it turns into 20GB (monthly cap) + 20GB (Afrihost Plus+)
It should be only Twitch in the previous images. Fortunately it's still currently working perfectly
Any chance you can try get an IP you're pulling content down? Not sure what OS you use.

yes, but i would then still be paying more than a 50GB bundle at R99. Hence im assuming that the lower bundles doesnt make sense to add on the Plus. 20+ 20 = 40 at R148 whereas 50GB standard bundle is R99.

I used the CZ tool again to reset the line. It seems to have normalised. \o/
I will (no doubt) still get a call from Telkom re the fault.

yes i saw that the 10GB im paying is R29, so that is 10+10 Promo which is 20GB. what im saying is, that if one then signs up to Afriplus at R99, the total then becomes more than a standard 50GB at R99.
40GB = R128 (R29 + R99)
50GB = R99
so 10GB's less, but for R29 more
Hope that makes sense, or i have this completely incorrect and im going to look stupid, esp since i work with numbers

You can't really compare with Afrihost Plus+ though, as it does have other benefits attached.

Speedtest does look normal - there may be shaping applied to the account, causing reduced speeds on your downloads.

I tested with an Ubuntu ISO link you sent a few posts back and it was downloading at 200KB/s plus - and the client zone doesn't indicate any shaping. I have also only used 28GB of data this month - so I doubt if it is that, and especially only for Steam
I have just checked Steam and it has just completely died after being on 1.1Kb/s

yeh man i know, im just pointing something out if you just look at purely from a cost perspective.

If you add R99 on that 50 GB you will get 100GB for R198 while a stand alone 100GB will cost you R199 a month

yeh i know man.. i know there is the extra benefits on A+ like mobile data, and simfy. I was just looking at it, on the lower packages, that if you dont make use of the added benefits of A+, then its a bit more than a standard 50GB package. I like the idea of Plus, but im hoping AH will maybe look at a few more variations of it in the future. ie like maybe add on a netflix subscription for say R149 when ever and if Netflix should arrive in the country
AG, are there any plans to do that with PLUS in the future, as im not keen on Simfy, but like the addon of the mobile data and the 2 for 1 stuff

If you're just looking for a higher data cap then Afrihost Plus+ shouldn't be a considering factor. It's simply there as a VAS, not to compete with a standard product offering.
