Nope, no congestion, pretty sure. Still getting 6Mbps+ on a speedtest. I think it's a line fault.

Also going to swap back to Afrihost after this. At least YouTube still works and Skype calls work with delay/garbled. WhatsApp seems to be fine even though torrents are failing to connect.
EDIT:
Sorry, never ended the ping. Still bras.afrihost.com
EDIT2: I managed to change the DNS via command line,
DNS:
DNS Type: User Defined
Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8 Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
Nothing changed.
EDIT2: Hey Afriguy, I think we have to log a fault with Telkom. Would you mind doing it for me as my line is with Afrihost? Just PM me the reference number as well please.
EDIT3: Restarting the router so the connection has to be re-established results in the latency dropping enough so that it can be pinged, so I am assuming it is the port at fault here. We had a similar issue with a dead port last time the line died for a couple of weeks, seems they never replaced the port but rather one of the techies managed to "duct-tape" it back into a working shape. Times like these really make me want the reliability of fiber. I might even go out and start walking door to door.
