Multiple benefits. Sure, maybe these don't include free data, but Afrihost in general always looks out for our clients.
Is there something specific you have in mind?
Nope bit if you look a the free data you are giving, the user is essentially getting a discounted product, why don't we get a reduction as well?
It's not simply about cost, by adding xGB to a capped account we aren't saving our capped clients any money.
At the end of the day, we can't just discount everyones Uncapped accounts by 20%.
Do you have something specific in mind though? All of our Uncapped accounts are pretty feature rich already.
You offer no different benefits to the uncapped accounts that are not offered on the uncapped accounts. But from a customer point of view, you see users paying for cheaper accounts getting benefits, it makes you wonder the benefits of actually paying extra.
But from the responses, as per my previous comments on the same issue, we get no where.
I'm not sure I follow?
Benefits on Uncapped mean ∞GB to name the main one. Ultimately, it's up to you on what package works for you.
Either way, sorry if you feel left out. We're open to suggestions.
If you want a mystery bonus applied to your account at random, perhaps look at changing to a Capped account?

Have you given the reps suggestions of what you as an uncapped user want? Out of interest sake, how much data do you use on your uncapped account?Well I would hope on uncapped I get unlimited gb, but there are no other benefits. I think its all about attitude, and I am not the only uncapped user that wonders why we get excluded. But as before, we get told we will be looked after, this happened when you were having network issues, equipment issues, and only capped users seem to get any "gifts"

Also would midnight data, not be an issue for uncapped users as well? I've seen guys burn through 500 to 600GB's data on a uncapped account per month.
Uncapped users can burn more data than maybe few capped users together, so I'm not sure why this little extra data being given out Now and Then is a problem. It's not like it's a monthly thing, where capped users benefit all the time. So the benefit the uncapped users have during the rest of the time could outweigh those that are capped.
My suggestion was to reduce the price, but of course that is a no no, I use about 350-550gb per month

I price drop on Uncapped account's isn't something we're going to be able to do I'm afraid. And an equivalent Capped account is definitely not something you would consider? Even with the After-hours bandwidth?

I think you are missing the point, capped users got free data, capped users got nothing, and we never do. So why is this the case, simple question?
My ADSL Line is so Unstable its more down than up.. Been monitoring my router sync for a mouth now and this is the result..

Have PMd you and requested support (twice today)
Thanks
Couldn't agree more here Bryn. Not sure exactly what you can give uncapped users. As said in an earlier post, some of the uncapped users burn over 600GB's a month. Me as a capped user who is only on a 200GB package, can only burn that, unless I do a crap load of midnight downloads. Thus if I run out of data, I have to top up and pay extra, while the uncapped user has no worries about this. What exactly would you have Afrihost do? Giving capped users extra data barely costs Afrihost anything, as they probably don't make all that much from topups. Pretty much the only thing they can give uncapped users is more turbocharges. But those are useless for business uncapped users.
Is Gian angry with you AG?Taking a look at your PM and ticket now![]()

You in early. Thought maybe you are under punishmentHaha, I don't think so
Why do you ask?
