Is the site loading slowly for you though? Loads up OK for me, packet loss on a specific router won't always mean there's an issue.

But I have no packet loos on Telkom account
And I have no packet loos last week it started after the Google problem last weekend

It's fixed now, but are you sure you couldn't find an anomaly?

All my friends and I had constant 150 ping for about an hour.

No way your systems can miss that.

The DNS issues from the weekend have been sorted out.
What happens if you ping those specific hops where packet loss is being reported?

Latency monitoring was solid last night, I also didn't pick up any issues from my place either :(

It seems that flippin ASS IA is the cause of the lower line speed ....

Frikken peeved ..... wont EVER complain again because I may loose another meg on speed ..... :twisted:

Can I reset my password via clientzone? The one I use to login into my router

Evening! :)

You most definitely can. In your ClientZone, you just need to go to Connectivity and then choose your ADSL account, there you will bee able to see all of your ADSL access details. You probably won't need to reset the password though. :)

Or are you talking about the password to log into your actual router?

No I'm in my router but the password when you set up your internet

Can one not use the afrihost news thing with other isp's?

Our News server will only work on Afrihost accounts.
Are you still having difficulties with your passwords?

yeh thats fine. I do have an issue with the newserver though. Last night i had to uninstall and reinstall Sabnzbd. When i entered new.afrihost.co.za and port 119, it asked me for username and password. i know this cant be right, as i didnt need to enter a username and/or password.

I did have a 2nd newserver setup via sabnzbd, which required a username and pasword. would this be the reason for this issue?

I doubt it. SAB may fail with it's test if you leave the username/ password fields blank. If you save the details it should work though.

with your newserver it failed asking me for username and password, but im sure i never added one the 1st time

i normally click testing to see if its successful, then save. I must be doing something wrong. Ill remove the other server tonight, and install and reinstall Sabnzbd and then enter yours 1st and then see

Just click Save.
SAB does fail with server info that doesn't have a username/ password.
