My ADSL Line is dead sins 2016-03-31 13:30 !!!!:mad::mad:

Phone Line working Perfectly, but ADSL dead, no sync at all...

Called Afrihost on 2016-03-31 to Log the Fault and the guy said he can see something wrong at exchange, but still not working.
So more than 5 days no internet.. cant work.. can do nothing.. no reports.. no reply..

At this point i wonder if my ADSL line is going to come back on??
And this is what I get for Paying Business Account..:wtf:

Hey dude, i got sorted. Phone Telkom or Afrihost, and ask them to check with Open Serve if they can do a port recreate or recreate your port, or move you to another open port. My line is sorted again

Well if the exchange has a problem you just going to have to wait for Telkom to fix it.

as of now, 16.9mbps

edit: the problem with speed is more during the evenings where i go as low as 3mbps :wtf:

That's crazy! But, if I remember correctly, you are sitting with some congestion issues, right? Really sorry about that. :(

let Afrifella see if he can get them to re crecreate your port or move you to another port. All the best, hope it gets sorted soon
 
Can anyone comment on how often or how bad the shaping is these days on the Premium Uncapped Packages?
I am on Business Uncapped so have no clue....
 
My connection has started disconnecting again. Had to leave the house on ISPAfrika while I'm out now in case it drops again.

I initially had congestion, but seems to be something else that's getting of hand during the evenings. I need to find a spare router, and see it that will do anything different
