interesting little test for me tonight.

got a 2 day trial with NTV.mx and all 3 accounts, Afrihost, Crystal Web and Telkom plays a bit, then it buffers, or doesnt play properly. Switched to my Telkom mobile sim and using as hotspot, no buffering at all. Seems mobile connection is proving somehow that somewhere my line is still not right, or the routers wifi signal is crappy as hell.

It's pretty safe to download copyrighted files too. I've only heard of Cybersmart sending out copyright infringement notices. I recall that downloading such files isn't illegal, but rather sharing them, so you could limit your upload rate to zero. Things might have changed though.

It hasn't changed. Download okay, but then seeding is no go. Which is better, Utorrent or BitTorrent?
 
My god. Afrihost. these speeds. I'm not worthy :D good riddance iBurst!

Btw, I chose the Telkom adsl self install , but I'm still waiting for my order number to use on the verify site. So uh...since my internet is working..guess that's not needed anymore?

I prefer uTorrent, but it's important to look up how to disable all the ads. Just some values in the advanced settings that need changing.

Yeh read about that a while back. How do I set the seeding to 0 or not to seed? Can't seem to find that

uTorrent has the download and upload limits in the Bandwidth pane in the Preferences settings. The global rates.

Cheers pal. Will check it to tonight. Was trying to find the book on Malcolm X last night, but nothing. So might have to be a normal person and head for the library :D

I would suggest you use a VPN when you download, I just took this screenshot on a 007 Spectre torrent review :wtf:
 
Touch wood, packet loss is zero and video streaming and fast downloads are back. I am cautiously optimistic.
 
Morning all.

So which Afriguy/ girl/ person/ man/ woman is on duty today? I need to pm them re a query.
