Once again I have to say, I'm very impressed with Afrihost. Managed to change a client from VOX to Afrihost, set up a new domain, created new mail accounts and got their permanent DSL account up and running all that within 4 hours, all I need to do now is get their line moved over from VOX to Afrihost. And I saved the client a few hundred bucks...Value for money and speedy support, enough to put a huge smile on your face

AH did a port reset from their side last night already, but a physical port change at the exchange no. To be honest I think that's where the problem lies, at the exchange.

Does your sessions also disconnect randomly?I've been having a weird experience over the last couple of days. Certain international services would become completely unavailable (iTunes, Playstation Network, etc). I have to effectively drop the connection and reconnect for it to work.

I was only asking because another forumite with a 100Mbps fibre connection experienced random disconnects.Not from what I've seen. Uptime was more than 24 hours before I reconnected this evening (I had to also reconnect the previous evening). Before that it's been up for a couple of weeks without any drops.
