Afrihost outage?

Haven't seen any other posts about this, but I can hardly log into the clientzone - getting either errors or no response when clicking around in the clientzone.

Not on Afrihost myself but a client called and asked if there's a problem.
Can anyone else confirm?

Our offices MWeb has also just been down, looked like it was the whole of Gauteng according to Mweb call centre. Must have been Telkom issue again

Thanks, just got a call from another Afrihost site - same thing. Didn't see a notice on their site so glad to know it's not just here.

my afrihost has been down for a couple of hours; so has my fnb connect data account, the only data account that is working is telkom

weird thing is that my wife is also using fnb connect at home and there she does not have a problem! she is on a different dslam.

fnb connect has a voice recording saying that there are problems. Afrihost has a notice up saying there are seacom problems

Yip, there is a seacom fault but should not affect you.

My Afrihost account is working fine. Logged onto the clientzone, no problems. Checked usage, even the IS link - all working.

Possible that TELKOM Exchange is congested, read my post.

oh, Afrihost does have an Authentication Issue with the IS accounts, they currently working on it. I also phoned to confirm, its affecting authentication.

I'm in Jhb West Rand and ours (2 separate lines) has been down since around 3pm. The one just connected about 10 minutes ago and the other still not working. Both on Afrihost obviously.

Hi. Our authentication server and other servers were experiencing issues today due to issues with infrastructure at IS. However our technicians are working on it and appears all the problems will be solved shortly.
