Afrihost Plus pricing and details

Afrihost-MTN want to get rid of the free double-data and the rest of the stuff is just sugar coating the issue.

Well I will be cancelling soon... the survey didn't give us a "no we don't want any of this cr*p" option...

Afrihost - Heres a little rule - I give it to you free,

If it isnt broken - dont fix it .....

Use it, dont,,,,
Just something I have noticed on both capped and uncapped services you offer ..... you tend to be your own worst enemy.;)

They better let us know quickly how much they will be screwing us, so I can cancel this month still (before their billing cycle).

Afrihost - really? Why not focus on returning your DSL products back to their former glory and performance before the rest of your customers start jumping ship and the word of mouth follows. I am pretty sure your success in the past was a simplified product offering with value as opposed to all this bolt-on crap.

The survey did not give me the option to select what I'd be willing to pay. The correct answer was none of the above.

Won't be signing up for this.

What I will sign up for, should my mobile double data disappear, is Axxess mobile double data :erm:

already moved last night.

i think for customers that have very high mobile and adsl data caps (and regularly uses top-ups) this could maybe be a bargain, but still.... - i don't like to subsidize.

I don't think this bolt on option is going to last long. They don't seem to realize that only people interested in this are the high cap users (ADSL and Mobile). Everyone else is moving on or on uncapped accounts. They won't have users to help subsides the cost.

The bolt on isn't a bad idea. But it makes things complicated, and its costing the clients more money. You would thing since we are in a recession, that Afrihost would know most users want value for money. This just isn't any real value.

Not being able you use this across an entire account is a deal breaker

If they drop the price of their current offerings it could work. ie Their current 100GB (50 + 50) is R199. Drop the price to R99 for the 50GB and bolt on the R99 service. But I doubt that will happen.
