With VOX now having a 600GB package for only R100 more than what my business uncapped is costing me ... ... I am considering putting my afrijoke on hold until they sort this crap out


Anyone know if I cancel lets say on the 20th, does my line get put on hold immediately or will I still have access till the end of the month?

You will have access till the 1st of the following month.
Mine has been on hold the past 3 months but now I am out of time. With 300Gb in the bank at VOX, the fact that they have upped it to 150GB/month for free, the pending announcement on the 6th and most importantly the fact that it actually works 24/7. I think my mind is made up, that suspension will be cancellation, I have waited too long and the grass is most definitely greener.

Is 3 months the longest you can put on hold ? ... ... If you put your line on hold you can reactivate it at anytime right ?

Is the option to change players only available to subscribed users?

I just checked and there is an option to choose between Flash and HTML5 in my preferences. HTML5 was selected by default. Going to try Flash now.

Udemy isn't a subscription service, so they don't have subscribers?

How is it cheaper going with a Vox capped account? Just the data for their 750GB account is R1499pm. +R425 for a 10Mbps line and you've got R1924pm - significantly more than the 10Mbps AH Business bundle.

I said it's about R100 more expensive for me. I don't pay line fees just the data package (company perk, if I go with Vox else I pay the full fee like I am currently)

If you go with a 500GB bundle then it would be like R125 more expensive than AH but at least the network works. (most users don't need more than that)

If you are referring to the res, the highest that Udemy supports (to my knowledge) is 720 and is available to anyone who can access the course.

Thank you, I’m using Microsoft Edge. The videos played without any problems on the Flash Player.

I stopped playing World of Tank in January 2014. Back then Afrihost had packetloss issues and massive ping spikes (~300 up to 999 then back down) with WoT (US servers) but I didn't report it since I was fed up with the game and didn't care.

It's now Late 2015 and I've installed it again and these packetloss and ping jumps are still here. Seriously?

This doesn't affect Free 1 GB WebAfrica or Free 1GB Afrihost.

WebAfrica also gets 270ms, Afrigreen Free 1GB is ~265ms while Afrigreen Uncapped is 300ms and jumps wildly...

I'm on Afrigreen Home Uncapped 4mbit.
