This is been blocked at the website because I have blocked US from the backend. I get to the frontend no problem.
"This plugin uses the GeoLite database from Maxmind." Somehow the ip addresses Afrigreen use have to be recognised as SA addresses.

We may be able to submit an update to this DM. I'd suggest submitting the feedback and your current IP via ClientZone - just include the destination you're using :)

When is p2p going to be sorted?
Everything was brilliant last month...no shaping, streaming full HD, p2p streaming no buffering...
p2p is fine on afrihost capped and webafrica test account

P2P may be slow for now, this will be resolved when we roll out the production network.
May be best to use your regular account for now.

Just confirming whether my World of Tanks connectivity issue has been acknowledged?

http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...n-Feedback?p=16217162&viewfull=1#post16217162

I stopped playing World of Tank in January 2014. Back then Afrihost had packetloss issues and massive ping spikes (~300 up to 999 then back down) with WoT (US servers) but I didn't report it since I was fed up with the game and didn't care.

It's now Late 2015 and I've installed it again and these packetloss and ping jumps are still here. Seriously?

This doesn't affect Free 1 GB WebAfrica or Free 1GB Afrihost.

WebAfrica also gets 270ms, Afrigreen Free 1GB is ~265ms while Afrigreen Uncapped is 300ms and jumps wildly...

I'm on Afrigreen Home Uncapped 4mbit.

Sorry if we missed this. I'm not sure if AfriMan has passed something on, he was around earlier this morning.
Do you only see latency on Afrigreen playing this specific game? I'd recommend submitting feedback via ClientZone - although I'm sure latency across the board will be improved on production.

P2P for me was actually better on afrigreen this weekend than the regular account.
Its not where it needs to be though.

We're in the process of building the network. When we have a better timeframe and updates - we'll communicate them here.

While having some issues with my afrigreen account. Switched back to normal afrihost business account and this is speed test I get.

Download Speed: 3716 kbps (464.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 851 kbps (106.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 20 ms
10/5/2015, 2:52:19 PM

basically half normal speed and latency is also higher than normal.

I tried to report this via the clientzone and give up.
Will the changeover be before the cut off date for changing packages for the month?
Then I can test whether Afrihost is still working for me.

Yeah, it's ONLY in that game and ONLY on the Uncapped account. It affects both Afrigreen Uncapped AND the standard Afrihost Uncapped as well. But not Free 1GB Afrihost/green or Free 1GB WebAfrica. So should I just do it through Clientzone then?

EDIT: Scratch that. Free 1GB Afrihost is crap as well, was so bad that I got dc'd from the server. Web Africa is still fine.

Was the feature buggy at all?
We'll confirm a more defined timeframe soon.

Very odd that this is across the board here :( I'll see if I can get some tests done tonight.
Anyone else seeing this too?

For some reason IQ Block Country a wordpress plugin sees Afrigreen as a US IP address.

Our network team can request an update on it for you though, unless you want to contact them directly?

That doesn't help as the IP address changes especially when I logout and log in again. Lets see what happens closer to the end of the month.

It should do, as the IP range itself should be unblocked - not one individual IP.

6pm, on the dot for weekdays, and my latency for all gaming servers in ZA has gone to hell in a handbasket. 7 days in a row. 6pm on the dot each time with the exception of Friday-Sunday, where I get this rubbish from 4pm instead. Goes on until at least 12pm.
