I have changed back to normal AfriHost Sunday night as every night on AfriGreen I had issues streaming Videos on Facebook.
I have double checked, nothing else was downloadong every night i had issues with this.

Working fine Sunday night and last night again. Other stuff still also running fine.

We've seen some performance issues on AfriGreen in the last few days, though by and large we're seeing a lot of improvement. Can you switch back and tell us exactly which services are giving problems? Real time services should be performing well :(

no eta on new network still?

There should be a mail coming out from Gian in the next day or so (possibly even today) with some more information and time commitments. What I can definitely say is that we'll be on the new network within the month, and clients already on Afrigreen will be there the soonest, as we'll cut over from AfriGreen POC to AfriGreen Production first.

Afriman, did you forward that issue I reported about lag spikes and packetloss in WoT?

Or is Afriguy handling it?

All the issues raised in the thread are forwarded to the network team. If it's something they can fix they will address ASAP. However some issues are obviously going to be incorporated in the new network configuration if they can't be deployed on the POC.

Considering that we have had to put up with this poor and inconsistent internet performance for several days now, can we expect a refund from Afrihost this month?

I've had very good connectivity ever since the POC launched.

Just a pity many of us do not share the same pure internet joy experience. It's been dismal performance mostly. Feels like the Legacy Afrihost network problems have returned with a vengeance.

The network running on the MTN backbone. I.e. prior to Afrigreen.

I thought you referred to an older product. Even the normal Afrihost account worked well for me.

The feedback from the network team is that gaming should be good on Afrigreen, though I know some posts on this thread seem to indicate differently, particularly on Uncapped. Which product are you using?

Somehow ...... I do not agree with the feed back from the Afrihost network team and after reviewing the ping plotter tests I made a few minutes ago (one on the afrigreen network and the other on the WebAfrica network), I am sure that even you will agree that the performance I get on the Afrihost network is appalling.

Question: As I have been having this issue for the past two weeks, is Afrihost looking into fixing it?

Im seriously willing to overlook the refund if they can match what vox is doing. Data rollover and zero rated between midnight and 6am.
This with usable service of course

I've downloaded PingPlotter and tested the same IP.
It showed the Jitter on hop 3 and 9 is very high.
There is also packet loss on hops 16 and 17.

Either way we need compensation. You cannot charge a customer for dysfunctional services or products.
