Again the .241!

Are you using static DNS servers or does your router obtain it automatically?

However, when I ping that address it has better pings.

Not a cooking clue - international is now dead.

Going to switch back, see if makes any difference.

Please show me the tests you're using so I can replicate and kick up to the guys on the network, they are keeping an eye on things as well.

For me getting great international speeds, latency could be better though :(

Afriman, Ive been on the Afrigreen network since before you started to move over to the production network. Now according to you everyone on afrigreen atm is on the production network, expecially the people in the north (Pta here). My experience of the network yesterday has been very spotty. While streaming I cannot browse. When doing nothing some pages take a while to load as if downloads are running.

My experience on afrigreen the last 2 days have been worse than before you moved over to the production network. Any advise?

That's definitely not the experience we'd like to see. I think best to drop me a PM with your username and give me some exact steps to replicate your experience :(

Hi Afriman,

Reported Hop 3 latency a couple of days ago.
See the routing has changed since my last trace however Hop 3 is still showing latency [below].
Interestingly there's nothing on bras.afrihost.com [see below]

Hop 3 is within the network but I am very concerned about your second hop showing latency as high as 50ms. That should never be below 30 and usually we like to see it closer to 10ms or under.

Here's my traceroute (seem to be hitting a firewall which is giving me timeouts afterwards, but I think you can see getting a very different result here :(

Anyone else noticing the same line works 100% before 8am and after 12pm ?

I was downloading this morning @ full speed and after that still streamed Twitch on source for 2 hours, come 8am and suddenly can't stream @ source and downloads running @ 700/800kbps

Also, noticing some strange Diablo 3 RoS lag, not sure if other are experiencing the same

:::EDIT:::

I take that back, high is buffering as well now ... ... YT seems mostly fine ... the very rare buffer @ 1080p

The maximum ping still reflects as very high here.
Can you run a ping over at least 10 requests to bras.afrihost.com please?

That's odd.
Have you run any comparative tests over the times when the experience is good and when it isn't?

Yeah, it seems that every morning @ 8am this happens (feels like shaping or prioritizing goes to hell) and then after 8pm it gets really bad as well.

YT and twitch normally smooth out around 12am-ish but still can't run twitch @ source if its after 8am (anytime between 12pm and 8am normally runs source wonderfully)

:::EDIT:::

I wouldn't go so far as to call Twitch dead for me ... but the buffering every couple of min @ high setting really makes it annoying to use ... YT @ 1080p feels pretty ok

What account do you have? Highly doubt it's shaping though.

LOL ... thought you would have my account memorized by now (since I complain so much apparently - you never called me out on that so don't worry) ... hahaha

I have a 10meg Business Uncapped

:::EDIT:::

Twitch starting to feel like a waste of time again ... sigh ... and it isn't congestion as I asked TK to check my line and my exchange ...

TK rep said my line has great stats and he tested my line all the way up to 18meg with no issues
