I take back what I said about this network being terrible, with 2 days of slow browsing and page timeouts on the mtn network I can now watch youtube at 1080p, the dream is real! Well done whatever you guys fixed in the past week. :D latency on my speedtest to both CPT and JHB are almost exactly the same, sitting in the low 30's. Speedtest comes back both at around 7.8, where it was around 2Mb/s slower last week.

Well done again, I can only hope it stays this way.

Nice to see the guys have turned that around for you :)

We definitely think AfriGreen is performing well. Since Telkom found a fibre issue on the IPC, things have been performing exceptionally well. We're still working out any kinks that come along, but these seem to be mostly specialised services.

Afripeeps, could the sudden improved network performance be directly attributed to this ? ^^^ That would certainly explain a lot.

So far so good with a just a few issues :

1. Web pages don't load up rather quickly.
2. twitch.tv still buffering.

Other than that no issues on my side, god job Afripeeps....

SpeedTest shows that I've lost a bit off my usual speed test figures. I normally get ~3.5mbit DL, ~400kbit UL. The Jitter on that last speed test was 133ms.

Code:
Tracing route to mybroadband.co.za [197.242.89.170]

Trace complete.

-Browsing. Opening up pages is sluggish. Loading images and GIF's seems sluggish. Got random ERROR_CONNECTION_CLOSED yesterday and some today. Some pages just sit endlessly loading. This page (http://thegamerspost.com/) for example loads incredibly slow at random times. Never used to. I have a net speed tool that shows live usage. Opening 3 image heavy sites simultaneously doesn't use full line speed. It all seems random. Sometimes it will be fast and sometimes just slow.
-Spotty YouTube throughput as usual. Some clips just load well others just refuse to use full speed. Seems very random. 720p60 content seems to be the most affected I notice.
-Started a large DL. VS2015 from MS. Full speed.
-Torrents. Full speed.
-Ping. Can't check now but as of last night. Local game of BF4 ran fine.

Yesterday, I received my test account details for AfriGreen.
By all the positive responses on this forum from yesterday, I actually cannot wait to give the network a test run.
I will do so from Wednesday.

What DNS are you using? Not seeing that on my side. There is a little extra latency from KZN, but not enough for it to be noticeable on browsing :(

In other news - my line is back up (Telkom sorted the issue out before I got home yesterday) and purring like a kitty. Afrigreen 4mb capped account.

Downloading in steam @ 500kb/s.

Yes, some improvement, will wait for most of the tweaks to be rolled out to see if there is more improvement...

POC - Afrigreen is a bit Up and Down lately..

Noticed something Strange
