Afrihost POC Network - Afrigreen Feedback

Just started on Afrigreen. To be honest it seems exactly like the old network. Unstable and high latency to European servers, >100ms latency to local servers. 1-3% packetloss in Teamspeak. Very high jitter detected in the speed test below.

FYI: Couldn't even get onto the AH website using AfriGreen.

Just make sure on Client zone. Business optimization is on by default...

Something seriously wrong with this network for me. Constant time outs have suddenly started which is causing latency to go up into the thousands, especially on international services, and my modem has dropped connection twice this afternoon. What the hell is going on? Things are just going from bad to worse. Web pages are extremely sluggish now, online games are unplayable, can't buffer anything above 240p on Youtube either. Please help

Have you tried switching back to your old account to see if the experience is the same?

You should add your location. It could help Afrihost determine if it is localized or widespread. I’m having no problems in PE.

I don't think that functionality is active just yet, the Business accounts I've checked only have an unshaped policy, no business optimisation yet.

4mb uncapped....yes clientzone confirms shaping is active but I'm not downloading anything yet browsing is slow and streaming is terrible compared to yesterday....in Durban

Thanks for posting your results guys!
Please do be patient though, the network has only been lit up recently so I think it's fair that some bumps will be seen along the line. We've setup the basics, and we're tweaking to get it running as it should.
