Yeah it won't be great :( We're still nailing down the right profiles for the site - I'm sure it'll improve soon. It's on the top of the the things to still do.

Why are you guys so inconsistent ... ... 1 day twitch works the next it doesn't ... I really don't get it ... ... ... Once it works leave it be ...

How long till you get this sorted ... Can't stream twitch even on medium with a 10mbps line ..

Youtube was working perfectly until around 8pm (give or take) and then suddenly freaked out ... ... This is becoming a common thing as around this time everyday streaming goes to pot

:::EDIT:::

I can stream twitch !! ... On mobile ... ... didn't even know that the quality goes that low ...

Oh wait ...

Buffering

It's inconsistent at the moment because it's still a service/ protocol that's being worked on.

I switched to Afrivanilla last night to watch some TI5, but Twitch was buffering like a mofo. Seems twitch is a general problem with AH, thought it was just Afrigreen. Even tried tethering to my phone, but same experience (with HSDPA) buffers every 30-40 seconds for 10 seconds then rinse and repeat. Even tried dropping the quality to medium (auto assigned high), but even that didn't work.

Whatever settings you have for your network has been replicated to the Afrigreen network. I know you are working on it, but this is now becoming a case where I can't watch a tournament which I paid in USD in order to watch.

Please guys. Get this sorted.

Also not working. Disconnects last night. This morning nothing. Resolved by using Google DNS settings.

Morning All

I see a few people saying theor AfriGreen is dead. Can I just get some more info on this?

Are you disconnected from the network, or are you looking like everything is fine but there is no throughput?

Do you get any throughput on any protocols like Skype, P2P, etc or is everything dead?

Does switching DNS fix the issue, as one user posted here?

Will appreciate all the feedback you can give me. If your connection isn't dead, please also post up so I can get an idea of what we're looking at :(

Twitch has been working pretty well on AfriGreen according to the testers. Pretty sure AfriGenie was testing this as well, so we'll have to make sure nothing changed there. Will test it out as well, got my line to test with today.

Tried twitch on the normal afrihost account last night, was really really bad, switched to afrigreen and everything worked fine, not 100% , but usable. Woke up this morning and Afrigreen is dead in the water, it's connected with zero throughput, didn't bother doing any tests as I left for work.

FYI, there is a possible DNS issue on our side - the team busy looking into it.

Router reboot seems to help with the no throughput situation (it did for me). Will keep you updated from our side as well.

Looks like there is a an issue with our DNS, should be resolved shortly.

We're serving alternate DNS settings on reboot, so a router reset will usually sort this out now, until we resolve whatever is affecting our regular IPs.

When can i expect afrigreen details? signed up ages ago and really wanting to test the new network. Any way of speeding it up? :)
