Did you guys break streaming again ? ... ... been working fine for a long time and now it's not working again ... ... I understand this is a POC network, but seriously ... this **** is starting to get really annoying


It's gotten so bad that YT buffers so much it eventually just greys out all options over 360p

That doesn't sound good! :( Streaming on Afrigreen is currently running like a bomb for me. How does it compare for you on the old network?
 
trying to switch to the old network is giving me issues ... looks like it never authenticates ... not sure whats going on there

managed to get it working ... YT works better on AfriRed but still can't 1080p

Hmm authentication really shouldn't be an issue unless you have the credentials wrong. Would you like to move this over to PM? :)

Getting weird "error connection closed" and time-out in Chrome and Edge. As well as voice dropping in steam calls. Sluggish internet in general. Pages like YouTube loaded slowly but once it did, the clip used full line speed.

That is weird. Your speedtest results look good, as well as your traceroute. How does this compare to your original Afrihost account?
 
I don't have any issues playing YouTube at 1080p. :)
Wish you had the same experience.

Could not post this yesterday, but YouTube was continually having streamlining issues. Speed tests showed line speed running at full speed general browsing was fine and seemed snappier than normal. Stem could download full speed, but even when nothing was being downloaded any video would stream. Cant do any tests now, but thought I would report this.

well yesterday the normal account worked for us and the green was up to crap so there is most certainly a difference between the 2 accounts

Thanks so much. We were all glued to reports to make sure iOS9 didn't hit us for a six, but we'll do more tests this evening.
 
we dont test for that but when you are working and suddenly the internet is up to crap and you change accounts and it works then the proof is in the pudding

There can still be a lot of reasons why that would happen, but also knowing the exact difference helps to pinpoint what to fix.
