Can browse, but nothing else works.
P2P - Dead
tried updating a few Apple Devices, no go.
Tried to do a iTunes download, nothing...

Sent my details via PM

P2P was definitely working for me. Updated my iOS devices, which promptly wiped all my music from my iPod. Downloads were running at a full 2.2MB/s, which is the highest my line has ever gone.

Yeah well, it did not work till late this morning...

We'll run some tests as well on our side to be sure, but P2P was definitely working fantastically for me. I was getting consistent download speed for several hours, but using multiple files to test.

Were you using a single file?

About 5 files. One of them a new version of Unity from their site.
And only started working at about 2 am on a business account.
If you spy on what is downloading now you will notice an iPad Mini update running (at least I hope it is still running) and teo torrents. One a manual on Unity and unity should be loading as well... I hope

Afrigreen is poked on all my apple deices, incredibly slow access to some sites on safari, no access to App Store, and generally poor performance on a lot of sites. Switched back to normal Afrihost account and everything is okay.

I realize Afrihost is testing network options but this is getting so damn tedious.

I definitely didn't experience this. I was using my laptop for downloads and browsing on my iPad without any hassles. I tested a few YouTube videos for Afrifella as well, and they were great on 480p, with downloads running. Paused downloads and ran at full 1080p without any issues (on macbook).

Are you using any custom settings for your firewall or DNS?

iOS 9 ran in about 8-9 minutes on my Mini, similar on my iPhone and on my wife's iPad 3, thoug installation took forever. It may just be load on the Apple servers, we're not seeing congesting at the moment, so there should be no limitation for OS updates. IN terms of Afrigreen specifically, we're not seeing any load issues from our side, there is plenty of capacity. Our CTO actually asked us not to request after hours downloading (like we did as a precaution on our regular network) as he was confident that we would be more than ready (in terms of AfriGreen) - which I think has been the case.

Double check your Antivirus does not have some sort of DNS protection. Disable it if does and reboot. Figured out the other day that Avast internet security has DNS Secure, which was redirecting all Google related services to US servers instead of the local servers.

YouTube does not buffer at all since I disabled DNS Secure.

Great advice. Can you post some info on how people can check for this? Maybe some screenshots. Would be awesome :)

YT seems to perform ok on some videos and crappy on others.

Download Speed: 3049 kbps (381.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 418 kbps (52.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 38 ms

You Tube seemed OK for me. Can you post the links for the ones you found we're great and what res you were watching them in?

browsing once again is down the crapper this morning with pages timing out all over the show
what a bum service

I can't stress enough that if you don't post actual results, I can't help. You seem to be having a consistently bad experience - but I have no idea what you are actually experiencing. I'd love to help, but I think posting the same message daily is not getting us any closer to improving your connection :(

Not to be funny, but AH, your replies are a bit arrogant and just down right calling us a bunch of f-tards!

I think it's important to get a good idea of what our testing shows. It's not to say that you didn't experience what you did, but it shows that the network's potential is capable of delivering good performance, and we need to zero in on the specific factors that make your experience different to what our tests show. We each run multiple tests from our homes in the evening to get a good idea of what clients should be experiencing, so comments are based on the those collective experiences as well. As Hummercellc pointed out, local settings can have a massive influence on your experience. It's important to look at all these possible factors in order to find the root of the problem.

I must admit, for the last week my experience has overall improved. I am able to stream Netflix at HD quality at any time of the day, downloads and surfing is snippy and YouTube does not buffer. Al though, gaming to EU servers are still at about 40ms above what it used to be with visible lag, but I do not have enough time to game so that is fine for the moment but I still want to see an improvement.

What are you general stats looking like?

All tests show no issues, but its not what is happening. Steam is downloading at a 10th of the speed it should be. Next week I will be having about 40-50GB of Steam updates to download at this speed they will finished next year. This is unacceptable, and I see others have reported similar issues. P2P is basically dead, no matter what I try to download. I use P2P to download my GOG updates as their downloader seems extremely slow.
