Why does it appear as if I am immune to poor network performance?
Zertop’s line tool says my line is perfect, speed tests are consistent and YouTube plays without buffering?

I'm having no issues either. Just seems like some people have issues and other don't on Afrihost, and that's how their experience stays.
 
I would like to take the opportunity to apologise in advance for coming across as rude.

But - we get the picture - you have are having an awesome experience. It is something that we are trying to get but fail miserably.

I don’t think any of your posts were rude and you have nothing to apologise for.
What is problematic is that we know AfriGreen is a POC account and that Afrihost asked us to test it. If we test a product we are required to provide feedback and just saying it doesn’t work is not enough. We have to substantiate it with facts.

Fair enough.
But let's be honest - people get sick of running trace routes etc just to be told by AH "well we never had any issues" or "you shouldn't be seeing results like that" or "our system shows no issues" etc.
Doesn't help much.

Posting proof of a poor network experience can’t be shrugged off easily.

Ps. It doesn’t cost me or anybody else, who is testing AfriGreen, anything since Afrihost provided us with 100GB of free data.

Sorry chipping in here but the business uncapped users like myself never got any AfriThanks - so that is a whole different fight.

And although it may not cost you anything as far as money is concerned, it does cost time and patience.

Being uncapped I can understand that they can't give us free data.

But seeing how creative they are with their responses surely someone could've come up with some kind of "THANK YOU".

Did you sign up for an AfriGreen account? This is the second month that Afrihost added AfriThanks data to our profiles. :)
 
I didn't get any AfriThanks data... on a capped account.
I don't know what to say. :confused:

I hope you're not one of the people who complain about not winning but fail to enter competitions. ;)

I never win anything :( oh wait maybe a wifi tablet :)

But yes I'm on the greens.... but only recently.
 
It's been good to be honest. But I only had a 20gig cap, done and dusted for the month.. too much gaming :) Topped up but that's gone too now watching ShowMax :p
Excellent! I was beginning to think that it was only I who had great service. :)
 
Hi Afriman, your worst nightmare here, I should have move away from Afrigreen a long time ago, in fact it should read Afri..shait not Afrigreen, since the change download speeds 75% of my cap and ping, would you believe 36ms, (afri.. shait does not even want to open the speed test) best since I have cancelled some 21 days ago, hell I should have cancelled longer ago!

Latency for Cape Town is higher than normal because AfriGreen doesn’t have IPC in Cape Town yet.
