Afrigreen has been extremely good today. Full line speed and no congestion throughout the day. AfriGuy/Man/Fella tell Sizwe.G I said thanks, he helped me out at 2am :D

That's awesome - will definitely put that up on the noticeboard for the whole team to see :)

ya my speeds are shocking now. 100KB/s on 8mb line :(

Doesn't look too good here. Generally pings were looking good for me last night. We'll definitely keep an eye on this :(

sorry i didnt get down to posting my tests but theres has been significant improvement.
Is everything that needs to be done, done?
While it works well when it works, im finding it inconsistent.

I think there are still some elements being finalised is terms of local routing, but for the most part we're on the new network :)

Still does not seem 100%, speedtests and tracerts show no issues, but browsing can show signs of slowness, sites have difficulty to open, even myadsl does not always load

I know that we wanted to improve the first call response on DNS, but we should be seeing the second call being really good.

I'll check with the team if that issue was fully resolved.

Yes, it definitely seemed limited to YouTube from what I could tell. The problem seemed to resolve later yesterday evening.

I know this is salt in the wounds for those having issues, but AfriGreen has been performing incredibly well for me - have had zero issues. It was like this the whole weekend:

edit: can't get the image to embed... but 9 ms, 37.96 mbps down, 2.89 mbps up.

Any news, you know I mentioned that the new network would have issues, and I was told I was assuming too much. This is really irritating and frustrating. I have the feeling as more people are being added, once again the network is unable to cope, or once again you have a configuration issue.

Awesome. Torrent party at your house? I'll bring the IPA keg ;)

I don't think the DNS issue I mentioned would be major. When I say slower than we'd like, we're talking about milliseconds and not minutes here.

Please also remember that we've provisioned Afrigreen for the entire clientbase, and we have less that 20% of our clients (as far as I am aware at this point) on that network. So there is definitely no congestion or capacity problem at the moment.

Well all I am doing is giving you feedback on my experience, Friday seemed great, and then it started to act poorly, slow browsing, downloads seem fine, all tests show no issues

We're definitely factoring in all the feedback we receive - but we can only action those which we can replicate on our side.
