only getting 2mb on my 10mb line with afrihsot, its been like this for the past week or 2

That seems strange, you should be getting decent speeds at the moment. Can you please PM me your Afrigreen account details.
 
my accounts are not on afrigreen its on afrihost, I don't have the time to switch 15 odd accounts to afrigreen.

Oh... My apologies, I assumed you were referring to your Afrigreen accounts, as this is the Afrigreen Feedback thread. Have you been able to test with an Afrigreen account to see if there is any difference?
 
as I say I don't have the time to switch get an afrigreen account and test and switch back and and and, that's why I pay you the FULL monthly fee every month.

You don't need to switch all of your accounts, switching one account to @afrigreen will help us greatly in figuring out where the issue is.
 
I lost connectivity on Afrigreen, about 1 hour ago. Light was green but no throughput at all. Switched to standard and all fine. Let me know when safe to switch back :)

You should be safe to change back now. :)

We had to make a few changes on our side, everything should be back to normal now.
 
all if my accounts are giving continuous problems since you started the MTN love affair, I made over 1000 ticket, phone calls, trace rt and ping test, and I spent over R100 000.00 this year only on accounts and its all ways the same thing nothing gets done, so why must I continue so to stuff like that???????

Because the Afrigreen network is brand new ADSL network that runs on an entirely new backbone, managed by us. Improved speeds and latencies are just some of the benefits of the new network.
 
I keep losing connectivity, everything looks OK on my router but my PC shows "No Internet access"...Throughput is bad

they why don't you move the accounts to the new network and boom let us know what problems you get that's what I would have done to an customer that spends 100k + an year at my place.

For the moment we are not changing the network that the @afrihost.co.za accounts use, if you send me a PM with your account details, I can activate @afrigreen accounts for you, and you can then try it out and see if the performance is improved.

Sending me the details is of course optional, you won't need to wait much longer for the @afrihost.co.za accounts to be moved across to the new ADSL network. :)

We're just going over your results at the moment, the moment I have feedback for you, or need any additional tests I'll let you know!
 
Attention Cape Town Users!

We need a second of your time please, can I ask that you quickly run a speedtest on speedtest.net or saix.net from a Cape Town server and post the results on this Thread.

It will be greatly appreciated!
