We are investigating an outage with our DNS, JHB.

Yeah just reset my CPE box and the blue light is flashing now

They do work with Ipv6 but the issue is DHCP. With DHCP to secure the Layer 2 network we insist FNO's to use DHCP snooping and Mac forced forwarding.

These security measures are strict and they blackhole some of the v6 packets for DHCPv6 so if you set up a static prefix it works.

This will be resolved once we complete our migration to PPPoE

hows FF PPPoE migration going? any eta?

No, you do not have to restart.

And yet… I’ve restarted my network twice. Router and mesh now showing I’m connected but throughput, not a thing.

Not anymore, no. The issue seems to have been resolved now.

I also checked mine, and there is an offering of 1000 Mbps. Waiting for the team to confirm if we will be offering it.

cool - im sure there are quite a few here that would love it but me, i am still sitting on 100 and quite happy on it.
