I never tried since I was happy with cloudflare. I was waiting for an announcement tbh since in the DM you said you'd let us know. I'll have a look tonight then. But honestly, I'll probably end up sticking with cloudflare since they're pretty fast.
And also that one site I use to check (https://www.dnscheck.tools/), comes back with pretty green ticks on the security checks when using cloudflare.
Is there a reason to prefer AfriDNS? I assume better pointing to various local caches?

The DNS based cdns won't be used like Akamai and Apple Edge Cloud. They use eDNS to get the subnet info when a lookup is made to steer traffic.
You can do the tests in command prompt or terminal to see what you are getting for example
nslookup i-live-cache.akamaized.net 169.1.1.1
vs
nslookup i-live-cache.akamaized.net 1.1.1.1
If you want to use 3rd party DNS you can use ones that send the subnet info for example 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.11 (https://quad9.net/support/faq/#edns)

So...uh, why would I want to be served by the Afrihost Apple CDN....? Seems kinda....ass ngl. DBN btw.
Multiple refreshes. 357mbps and 597mbps. That 135mbps from the Afrihost Apple one was the highest I could get from multiple refreshes.

Yes, but they will need to select new installation because they don't know the Bnumber of that line.

When Openserve calls they can give the Tech the serial number of the ONT for an activation.

Thanks. Had a look to see if the B-number was written on the ONT when I was there. Will get the serial number since he's only moving in later, but wants to sort out the fibre in the mean time
Logged a ticket with Apple. They suspect the sample size is too small causing the issue. You can try using a larger file.
