Afrihost Sim Delivered To Someone Else!

I ordered a Telkom sim last week and was charged on the 28th of August. Courier confirmed all details and RICA docs needed for delivery which was scheduled for yesterday. When they didn't arrive I called and was told the sim had been delivered! I checked the Afrihost app and the status of the order shows delivered!
How is this possible? I have now been charged , it's a week later and someone is using my sim without any RICA documents. And I am without internet at home!
 
That's impressive! Someone in your neighbourhood is a next-level opportunist!

But don't worry! While you file a police report against the perpetrator, @AfriNatic will sort you out with a replacement SIM card, delivery, reconnection, etc.
 
ok so @AfriNatic informed me the sim was not delivered. The courier company called and said the driver had a problem. They wanted to deliver tomorrow until I kicked a fuss since I waited all day for them yesterday. It's apparently on it's way.
The question is still why the Afrihost app and courier company said it was delivered yesterday?

Thank you for chatting to me.

I have escalated to warehouse to arrange for a second delivery attempt. With Simcards only 1 attempt is made and if it is missed we need to authorise it from our side for a second delivery attempt.
