That routing that he posted sure ain't normal.... here's mine (the fact that we both have German versions of Windows is a funny coincidence):Surely it would depend on where eskom is hosting its site and their routing?
Same here,
It's strange though...this morning i was downloading at full speed..but now, no where close.
10meg line, plumstead cape town.

Are You downloading the videos, if so, it will be shaped
Are You downloading the videos, if so, it will be shaped
As far as I'm aware, if my clientzone says "Shaping Policy: No Shaping Applied" then any downloads should not be shaped.
Im curious as to why you downloading from youtube will be shaped?
![]()
It shouldn't be.
It is
Because the packets intercepted are classified as downloads and shaped as necessary
But he is unshaped? (No Shaping Applied in clientzone)
This is the same issue a few of us have been having
Wtf!![]()
Got a call from support this morning. Need to send them some test data tonight when I have this problem again. Hopefully this will help them narrow this down. I have further tested this on other ISPs now as well. Openweb - 100%, Ti - 100%, Mweb - 100%, Afri capped -100%. Only AFri uncapped giving this jittery perf. Annoying!
Hope to have this solved soon as I cannot understand how things could have been running 100% till Tuesday...then it changed. Something on the network path changed.
In my experience, downloading from youtube's servers is always unshaped
Are You downloading the videos, if so, it will be shaped
If you're downloading a video and not streaming it - the packet signature will most likely change and it could be shaped. Only if you are being shaped at the time - otherwise not![]()
