afriguy are you high? :D @zertop can't find that in client zone

Haha, wait.
Just ignore what I said - I'm getting myself more coffee now :p

Business Uncapped is never shaped. Just make sure you check the protocol prioritisation is off.

@Zertop and @Afriguy

All of the options are available but once I chose in the standard uncapped section it gives me an error. I moved into a new place so I have my line here and having 10mb business uncapped at the home/office is just to much as I'm not there to take full benefit but a 4mb uncapped business is also not bad :)

Afriguy can you check if the account is down to 4mb from 10mb, just want to be sure, will drop you a pm. Also my line is still in a pending state, I got the bill from Telkom with the line amount, I would assume it will be brought over in the new month?

Wait a sec, AfriGuy says p2p is shaped on business and AfriMan says the opposite o.0 surely it has to be unshaped

Edit: missed the part about AfriGuy needing coffee

If you are moving from Business to Uncapped, you'll need to unbundle first (if you're in a bundle). Otherwise we'll have to take a look at the error you're getting in ClientZone.

I'm sure AfriGuy will check it all out from your PM - you can also copy me in the PM :)

Yeah, NO shaping on Business - unless you opt for the Protocol Prioritisation which shaped torrents pretty heavily (but you can switch that on or off at any time in ClientZone)

Well im looking at moving to Afrihost cos Mweb isnt reducing the prices for their premium uncapped bundles.

How does Afrihost's normal uncapped bundel fair agains Mweb's premium uncapped?

How would the DNS affect this?

DNS plays a part in deciding which route is taken to the destination. Its like if I am travelling from Cape Town to JHB, DNS could either route me via the N1 (Much Faster), or via durban, which will obviously be slower

How would the DNS affect this?

3rd party DNS servers won't necessarily route you to the correct CDN.

So Afrihost's DNS will route you to a local CDN for Google services where as a 3rd party DNS might route you to an international CDN
