Anyone having issues with international? I did a tracert on google.co.za, and it is shocking. I can barely load any pages :(

I haven't been able to play any League of Legends (europe server) as my ping has been so high (esp last night). It was all over the show, lowest being 350 ping :( its better today though.

Those *'s indicate packet loss :( which is never a good thing. Please would you run http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/576445-quot-Help-me-fix-my-internet-quot-report-tool and post results here

Lucky you, I've been shaped 18.8% Download/ 6.25% P2P, 24/7 since January 1st on a 4mb uncapped account, and Afrihosts supports response to my queries have been, "The shaping for you account is correct".

Needles to say I've cancelled the account, and resigned myself to the fact that I've paid Afrihost R400.00 for something that I can't use.

My Advise, Stay far away from Afrihost if you are considering uncapped, unless you have money that you'd like to give away.

Or get a business account if you want to use the account for download spam.

I was shaped from day one, with 0 Mb bandwidth used for the month, and your answer is to get a business account and give them even more money?

At the current shaped status of my account I will have paid R 400 for the ability to use less bandwidth than if I bought a R 200 capped account.

I use uncapped because I work from home very often, and VPN into an office network so I need unlimited, reliable internet, which afrihost is clearly not capable of supplying. not to "download spam" whatever that means.

You clearly don't understand the shaping policy. It doesnt matter how much you use, if the network is under strain - you will get shaped.

Ah guys, come on. I'm also shaped right now, but it's chilled cause that's what I payed for. If you guys want to move go ahead, but things aren't always better on the other side

I will post my opinions where and whenever I feel like. So sorry for you. For someone who has only been registered since Aug 2013 you seem to like proliferating your opinions at modest rate.
