My tests have been at full speed - 3.5Mbps on a 4Mbps line. Not sure why some are getting poor speeds but we haven't been able to replicate this in our own testing :(

Hey, you're right. Just checked and I got great speeds. When did this happen? Shouldn't Afrihost be protecting their news server with authentication?
 
Afriman, any news on the static IPs for business uncapped ? :)

So, that's interesting. My account has poor international speed, their account has poor international speed. I have passed this onto Afriman and the Critical Care team as well.

something major wrong here...I tested my account with Afrihost's "test"-account 1 min ago and this is what i got --->

'm thinking of going for the Afrihost 10Mb/s any possibility of testing it without paying. I'm doing about 250GB per month so not that much. Just scared Mweb will throttle me next month.

Hi there... Is this going be available as standard for all business ADSL users or will it be an extra cost addon? Sorry.. It's probably been answered already.

I reckon the first, but just wanted to check.

I see axxess has launched this but they ask R59 extra

Ok I checked it's not bad price at all. maybe we should get it for home 4mb at least cause we work from home and have an office.

Got a strange one here. My adsl keeps on going down on me.

Sorry didn't read all of your previous posts, but did you try these tests on an Afri 1GB free or other ISP's package as well? (Axxess has a 3gig free trial).

Had the same kind of issue across multiple ISPs a while back, especially with BF3 and SWTOR (strangely, US and EU Linux mirrors worked at full speed).

Only way I finally managed to get it fixes was by Telscum switching out my line to a different port on the DSLAM.. might be worth giving it a shot if you haven't yet and all else fails.

Please make sure you send your feedback directly to our support team who are looking into the issue. If there is a significant difference between capped and uncapped international performance, then it definitely needs to be addressed ASAP :(
