Interesting - so do you think the router was faulty - or the billion just works better?

I generally find Netgear are very awesome - but very susceptible to electrical damage :(

I see that some people advised that you check if Protocol Prioritisation is activated in ClientZone. If it shows as Deactivated - try setting it on and then back off to be 100% sure.

We definitely do not shape torrents or any other services on Business :(

Since moving to uncapped i get shaped/throttled to 1Kbs for many hours of the day ....yes one very lonely Kbs. Managed to get a grand total of 5G down today before the shaping started.

When i run speed tests it looks like the line is fine...afrihost, why sell uncapped if you effectively just cap us when we use it as designed? going to consider taking this up with advertising standards, competition commission, consumer protection. very sad.

We advertise out Uncapped product as semi-shaped, so we definitely are not being dishonest when we then shape according to our AUP and Terms.

It's sad that you would want to go to the length's mentioned here to express your dissatisfaction - I would have preferred that you drop me a PM and we could chat about how everything works and whether Uncapped is the right solution for you.

If you're still keen to do so - my Inbox is always open :)
 
Why is my account active when I explicitly requested it to be paused again till January???

I am now paying for two accounts with both OW and AH :mad:

To my knowledge it was paused - so there should not have been any billing.

Drop me a PM please and we'll get this fixed ASAP :(

All looks pretty awful - definitely not normal at all.

Please drop me a PM - I think we'll need to test on a separate network to get some comparative results before we conclude that this congestion :(

Something strange are happening. I joined you yesterday. Dismal download performance yesterday. OW and AfriHost could not deliver.
Strange but true this morning after six downloads were again full speed. I was logged on OW account. Have not tried AfriHost account.

Have not done anything to my setup.

Sorry to hear this :( From the results you've provided, it looks there are some fairly consistent exchange issues.
When do you notice these issues?

You will have to log a fault to whoever is managing your Telkom line
 
Has the new 4mb pricing bundle been implemented yet, I've been charged R697 for December so was just wondering if that is correct or if it should be R597 now.

You'll need to upgrade/ downgrade for the new pricing to take an affect.
 
Hi Afriman, I'm on a 1mb uncapped bundle and my telkom line has been upgraded by telkom to 2mb. When can I expect to be upgraded to the 2 mb bundle. You mentioned we must wait for communication from afrihost on the matter. Haven't recieved anything yet.

Must we call in and upgrade and wait for the communication? Remember this is sepcifically for us 1mb uncapped users who are going to be automatically upgraded to 2mb uncapped.
